Creating Opportunities Through Employment
First Nations Traffic Control Services is committed to creating meaningful employment opportunities within our communities.
We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome people from all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and those from diverse social and employment backgrounds.
Our goal is to support individuals seeking a future in the traffic control and civil works industry. Whether experienced or new to the field, we provide the support and guidance needed to help people grow within the workforce.
We believe reliable, committed individuals deserve fair opportunities. Employment should create stability, build confidence and open pathways to long-term careers.
We are committed to building a respectful, safe, and professional workforce connected to community.
Our Process
At First Nations Traffic Control Services, we approach every project with careful planning, strong safety practices and effective coordination
Site Assessment
Every project begins with a worksite assessment. This helps us understand traffic conditions, site layout, pedestrian movement and potential hazards before work starts.
Traffic Management Planning
After the site assessment, we work with contractors, site managers and stakeholders to ensure traffic control measures align with approved management plans and project requirements.
Implementation
Our accredited Traffic Control Officers implement required measures on site, including managing traffic flow, positioning signage and ensuring safe movement of vehicles, workers and pedestrians.
Monitoring and Coordination
Throughout the project, our team monitors site conditions and coordinates with contractors and supervisors to ensure traffic control measures remain effective, compliant and safe as conditions change.
We conduct regular site visits to ensure our team maintains high safety standards and follows all
operational and compliance requirements.
Acknowledgement of Country
First Nations Traffic Control Services acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we operate. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We honour their strength, resilience and cultural knowledge and are committed to operating with respect and cultural integrity in every community we work.
